Running For Office
Saturday, May 24th, 2008How much do we know about the people who are running for the office of President of the USA?
The obvious of course is black, white, male, female, married, ambitious, outgoing and in the public eye. What are their histories? How closely do we examine what they have done or tried to do in their lives? There are many points of view about what is or is not appropriate to know about our candidates.
Found a point of view today that I hadn’t thought about, their professions. What they do for a living DOES effect what they do, and how they accomplish what they want to do. The more we understand the candidates, the better we can choose how we vote. It is after all OUR country, OUR choice.
