Welcome back!

I’ve been thinking. Yep, that happens sometimes.

I need to lose some wight. Well, actually a lot of weight. I’ve tried different diets. You know the one where you eat a small caramel half an hour before your meal. The diet where you eat only protein (I like meat and all, but enough is enough, plus I’m Diabetic - it’s forbidden) is tasty if that’s all you want to eat. My problem is that I like food A LOT.

A buffet is a nightmare for me. Especially if they have a lot of my favorites. It is really hard for me to stop once I start to eat. I have even tried to drink a large glass of water before each meal. I get tired of visiting the bathroom. On TV they talked about something from Africa called hoodia. I would like to know if it works. Something that kills the appetite, for me would be wonderful.

I’ve heard of “The Zone”, what ever that is, South Beach Diet (I hate the word diet. It after all has the word die in it). I wish there was a way to accomplish getting rid of weight that works all the time, for everybody. Maybe it’s out there.

    Check into the weight watcher program. I believe their diet program is very close to the recommended diets for diabetics. Its a program that is working for my sister.
