If they are that stupid, they certainly don't need to be parents. Of course, you don't want that to end up being a law that if you name your child some stupid name that you can be arrested for child abuse. That would be going too far the other way. However, having looked at some of the names that were allowed, I am wondering about the sanity of the judges in those cases. I mean.....Allowed names: Violence; Number 16 Bus Shelter; Midnight Chardonnay; Benson and Hedges (twins)...HELLO!!!!! What kind of idiot names a kid something like that???? I know we have a creative bunch of parents here but really. And the kid in this piece had to keep that name until she was nine years old. The damage is already done. Why are these things allowed? Because you have the right to name your kid anything you want to. I cannot believe we should change that. But you would think that the parents would see what a life a kid would have with that sort of thing. I know that Johnny Cash came out with the song, "A Boy Named Sue" but that was a song to make fun of something. This is reality. What trashy people to name a kid something that will ultimately damage them. Moron is a good name for that.
