Welcome back!

You know I just wrote about summer time and popsicles. I didn’t stop to think abut what others might do instead of hiding away inside.

I know there are some who enjoy being outside and doing things. Some go on picnics, others will take part in activities. Where we live, I have seen people riding horses on some of the side roads. I never stopped to think about where they get their saddles, the tack to put on the horses or any other type of thing that would be used for horse riding. Where would a person find a blacksmith? Mechanics are all over the place, but a blacksmith? What about a place to get saddles and other gear? Is that called a saddlery or something else? Football gear can be gotten at a sporting goods store. Hunting items (look out Bambi !) can now be found at discount stores. Horse tack, and other things must be hard to find. Although I like horses, I bet they are glad that I am not a rider (snicker). For those who are not afraid to brave the heat - I wish them well. I will stay inside however, and eat my popsicles.
