Songs

Welcome back!

Practically everyone has a favorite song. Well, one I just heard on the radio sure is fun. It is a country song called ‘I’m still a guy’. I don’t know the man singing it, but he has a good voice.

Usually my favorite songs are gospel music, whether country style or otherwise. This song, however, talks about the differences between females and male. I’m glad that there are differences. They make life interesting. Any way, as the song plays and the singer explains how the male approaches things and how the female approaches things, all I can do is nod my head and sometimes, laugh.

There is no filth, violence, or dirty talking used, yet this song is great. I wish that others could learn that keeping things ‘G’ rated isn’t hard. :)

Belly

Sunday, August 10th, 2008

Yup, I said belly. Not mine of course, but the belly of our second cat - Sami (a,k,a, Samantha). I used to hear people say that cats do not demand attention, HA.

I’ve had cats for a while now and can very firmly attest to the fact of their demanding attention. Sami is mostly white and about 10 lbs of love. When she has decided that attention is needed, she will go belly up. Yes, that white belly showing is a sign of the need for petting. Her purr is rather comforting. If I try to rub the belly of our first cat, Dipper, well, where is the peroxide? Dipper’s picture is in another post called Internet Kitty. Sami has her picture there, too. Yes, Dipper still sits on the top of the computer and watches me as I surf the net. (That’s fun to say, now that I can do that.) Rubbing a soft belly is comforting to the person with fur who is being rubbed and for the person with skin who is doing the rubbing.
