Does any one remember a story by George Orwell called 1984?

IT IS HERE. The RFID chip is Big Brother of the nightmare.

Have no doubt. In the book, the government has the thought police to make sure that the citizens get no freedom at all. For the ‘thought police’ think of the ‘politically correct police’ and what they have done to our supposed freedoms. Christmas scenes are not allowed on public property. Kids are not allowed to pray. Freedom of speech is not so free any more.

Now the government wants the RFID chip to follow everything and everyone. If I want to go to the bathroom and pass gas, I do not want someone knowing this and knowing my every move. If I want to hang out with friends, I do not want them to be harassed and followed with their every move, too.

So far, tracking information is used to ‘prevent’ shop lifting in stores. Except when I see a family go into a store and the ‘alarm’ sounds off because some chip in the kids’ shoes was not de-activated. There are things in DVD’s, there are things in types of medical devices. Why are people being ‘bugged’ , why are we allowing others to stick their noses into our private business?
