Eyeglasses
Welcome back!
Did you ever think about what it is to wear eyeglasses? When I first got mine in eighth grade, I thought it would be a disaster. My classmates didn’t wear them. I thought it would be a pain.
After I got used to them, I could see what the teacher had written on the chalk board, for once. I could see faces in the crowd, too. Back at school, I could see across the school yard and see my friends in the distance. Once when a wind picked up, my friends had trouble with getting grit in their eyes. Later I realized that my eyeglasses protected my eyes from the wind. Rain made me wish for windshield wipers, though.
All in all I have found that my experience with glasses has benefited me in the long run. It is easy to add sunglasses to my frames with clip-ons. It is so much nicer to be able to see.

I got my first pair at 8 years old. Talk about trauma. Luckily, my older sister wore eyeglasses- so I had her to look up to. Actually, I bought the same pair of glasses as she did. Now have the “revere” glasses by http://www.glassesusa.com and my sister actually wanted to buy the same glasses as me. Can you believe it!
I agree with the window washers on glasses during the rain. I switch to contacts when it rains. :-p
