Light
Friday, October 24th, 2008As I sit here and type, I wish that I had the good light that is over where my brother is. The lighting fixtures in this apartment are very old fashioned. We have had to remove the glass globes that cover the light bulbs so that we are able to reach the fixture to change the bulbs.
One fixture in the living room is so long that the globe would not fit over the type bulb that we have in it. The dining room where the computer is, well, it isn’t very bright. Not that at this time of night I’m very bright myself, I could use a little help when it is this late. It is after ten pm after all. 
I enjoy the idea of a fan with the ceiling light in the living room, but it shakes so much that I hate to use the fan. If I had the money, I would change out the fixture myself. That’s life. Some things are good, some not so. At least we have a place to live, food to eat, and electricity for the lights that we do have. It is getting late and we have had a busy week, so I guess that I’ll sign off for now and probably dream about light bulbs, too.
