Welcome back!
My husband and I are concerned for our brother. He is in the Dallas VA in the TCUB. He has cancer, congestive heart failure, and blood clots. he says that he hasn’t been getting straight answers from any one. He is also concerned that the man he had been renting from was ripping him off.
The man has claimed Sonny’s van and his pets as his own. He claims that Jesse gave him the van, then he claims that he bought it, then he claims that it was traded for a motorcycle, then he claims that it doesn’t run. We can’t get a straight answer from him in any way shape or form. Prayers are needed.
Please pray for: James Moore (aka Jesse Two Moons)

Just read something that I thought was unusual and hilarious.
It involves 11 dozen eggs. I wish that I knew a lot of recipes for eggs other than cakes and stuff. If it was Easter, there would be no problem knowing what to do.
How many egg recipes are there anyway? This writer seems to know how to laugh at life. These days - that is important. When I read what happened, I couldn’t help myself, but guffaw, and then snicker. Of course I’ve never done anything like that….Ahem. Well, not with eggs. I have had many a disaster. So far, I have survived.

You know how i have mentioned advertising in some of my past articles? Well, I have found that there is something called -digital signage. I’m not sure exactly how it works, but it is a new way to advertise or get your message out to the public. Since I’m not completely digital in my daily life (I do have a cell phone and computer after all), I can’t explain how this works. Thinking on it however, if there is something that will make some ads more interesting, wouldn’t people pay more attention to what they are seeing? Most ads I ignore or forget what they were about as soon as the ad is gone. That would seem to reverse the purpose of the ad in the first place. Making it interesting, would help people to remember it.

Well, fall is upon us. I was hoping that the allergy season would be over. I still sneeze when I go outside. I wish that there were giant air purifier that could be used to remove the pollen from the air in our neighborhood. I know that they make them for houses, businesses, hospitals and other places.
The only trouble with having one for the outside is that flowers would not be able to grow without someone taking care of each one. That pollen can be trouble, but it does have a purpose besides making us sneeze. I like flowers, fruit, veggies, plants in general, so I guess that I will put up with the sneezing, take some allergy medicine and go enjoy the plants outside.

How do you decorate for the holidays? Do you go all out and get a lot of stuff from the store? Or, do you get craft supplies and make your own?
I am afraid that I do the latter type of decoration. At least that way I can change it each year and it is not the same. Sometimes I leave part of the decoration up for more that just a month, especially if it can be used by itself. Some people do body jewelry, others do house jewelry, some do interior jewelry. After all when you decorate, you are adding things to improve the appearance just like when people put on jewelry.
My Christmas lights stay up all year round. Here in Texas, people also use lights and fireworks for more than just one holiday. Since I love to add decorations, that makes Texas the ideal state for me to live in so I can have a lot of fun.

I need a vacation. You know, one of those vacations that you can have in one of those vegas hotels, one of those that have all of the trimmings, spa, turn down service, catered meals.
This past week has been rough. We have had to do spring cleaning, go to the doctor, help a family member furnish a new apartment, have a family member visit from Arkansas. I am pooped. Even as I write this my eyes are bleary and feel heavy. It could be worse. We do have a nice bed that is waiting for me right now. One of our cats has protested all of the upset by hiding all day long. She was out in the morning, then hidden. Any way, the floors are clean, other things are clean and re-arranged. I still need a vacation though. Wish I had the means and the transportation. Yawn. That bed does look good.

Well, I went to the doctor yesterday. The diabetes hasn’t caused any damage, but I’m now on a new medicine. I sit here at 2:30 in the morning and write this.
The new medicine I have to take is Novolog insulin. I’m supposed to take it within 15 minutes of eating. It is supposed to work fast to bring my blood sugar down. Before I ate, my blood sugar was 183 which is high. Got up this morning and it was 312, which is even higher than it’s been for a while. I guess that I will just check it later this mornnig and see what it is then.
I am hoping that this medicine will eventually work, because I do not want any damage from blood sugars that are constantly too high. If it doesn’t work, I’ll have to tell the doctor and let her decide what to do next. Shots are no fun, but losing my sight, or the feeling in my hands and feet is even uglier. So, here’s hoping that it will start to work properly.

Whoopee, the gas prices are going down. No, it is not a true celebration. The rise in gas prices was not necessary. The shortage of the supply of gas was not necessary. I appreciate that I am paying less. However, it would really be nice for someone to admit that the reason why the price of gas went to high was greed.
The individual stations are not to blame. They only pass on what they have to pay themselves. They too, were caught between a rock and a hard place. We should not blame the individual station owners for something that was created by those higher up in the chain of command. Why are the company executives getting any type of bonus, or extra pay? Why would anyone think they deserve it after the botched handling of their companies’ businesses? Ordinary people are the ones who are being hurt. The executives, they are not facing the same problems as Mr Joe American on the street. Why doesn’t anyone investigate just what exactly was manipulated to cause the problems? I cannot be the only one curious about that. Why hasn’t the Media circus started to explore true cause and effect? I am still curious.

Raccoons can be very nosy critters. They can also be very amusing. We used to live in a place where the raccoons would come in and visit us in the house. The house was old and had a number of holes in the floor. The raccoons would come in and help themselves to the dog food that we would put in an old frying pan.
When a bunch of them would gather around it there would be so much snorting and grunting, I thought that they sounded remarkably like a pack of pigs at the feeding trough. One day my husband and I watched one raccoon washing its feet in an old butter tub that we used for water for them. It sat on the side and scrubbed its feet down in the tub. When it got done it made the mistake of sitting up. The next thing that we knew, the tub flipped over and dumped all of the water all over the coon. It grumbled, griped and snorted while my husband and I laughed ourselves silly at its antics.

I’m back again. Moe junk mail in the outside mail box. I went through all of it. Nothing of any importance. Just junk. Then I strted to remove the names where they were plastered in all of the mail. YUK.
Not elegant, but the word tells how I feel. Why do the junk mail people do that? They don’t need to put your name all over the mail. It is like they want to make it easier for someone to steal information. I shred the important pieces and make lots of confetti. I wish I had one of those remote control helicopters and could take a load of the confetti to the junk mail business and deposit it all on the heads of the bosses there.
I realize that they are working, but they choose to put peoples’ names all aver their junk without any concern as to who might look at the leavings. ICK , or maybe I should stick to YUK. Oh well, if I did that with the confetti that I make, it would be littering wouldn’t it? Still, it is a fun thought.
