Humor
Welcome back!
I do enjoy humor. I like to laugh, giggle, snicker, snort, whatever type of noise that I make when there is humor present.
The belly laugh itself can be very therapeutic. Yes, after that type of laugh your sides can be sore, and your belly weak, but it does lift your spirits. How do you feel about humor?
A pie in the face is funny to me. I remember laughing hilariously at old movies of the Keystone Cops. Abbot and Costello, the Three Stooges, Roadrunner were favorites of mine because of humor. These days I find that some of what is represented as humor does not seem to be funny to me. That is sad because people need to laugh. They need something that will cheer them up and give them the exercise of laughter to lighten their spirits.
True humor does not need to embarrass a person in order for it to be humor. Laughter when shared, is a beautiful shared experience. ![]()

You’ll love the bit I heard on Paul Harvey one day when the power was still out. I was listening to the car radio looking for information and found him on.
Near the end of the broadcast he quipped this bit:
“If all the lawyers in the world were laid end to end around the equator … We’d all be better off”

I once heard of one where a person asked. “What do you get when you put 1,000 lawyers at the bottom of the sea - a good beginning.” I guess that they did not like lawyers especially. I have felt that way about politicians at times, though.
