Diets, diets, diets

Friday, July 31st, 2009

Welcome back!

Everywhere that you turn, you will find different sites that will advertise diet pills reviews. Some are rather obvious that they are nothing but ads, others actually give good advice and honest opinions about different types of pills.

What needs to be done is to weigh and balance each site. Examine what is said, the price and the actual efficiency of the pills talked about. If you are on medicine, the best bet is to talk to your local pharmacist and get their educated information on whether the pills will work with your medicine, or against them. Mean while, get slimming.

Diets again

Thursday, July 30th, 2009

Every time that I open up my e-mail, I keep hearing about the best diet pills that each site has available.

I have no idea just how many types are out there, or which one do actually work. All I know is that I like to eat. I truly enjoy food and in a lot of different varieties and tastes. I keep hearing about diet and exercise. I wish that there was an alternative for the exercise.

Some of my favorite foods like tomatoes are low calorie. Some of my other favorites and high calorie like pizza. It is very frustrating in trying to find a good balance.

Snoring

Thursday, July 30th, 2009

How often do people talk about snoring? I don’t know, but i guess that i am one of them.

When we lived in Arkansas, we lived in mobile homes in two different places. I remember when one of the places had the homes about 20 feet apart from each other.

One day my husband and I were awakened at about 7 in the morning. My sister was pounding on the side of the home and telling us to turn over. Evidently our snoring had awakened her and her husband.

This was before we were told that we both had sleep apnea. I hadn’t realized that we were so loud that we could be heard, let alone wake people up, too. :)

Funny Talk 3

Wednesday, July 29th, 2009

Here I go again.

I heard something that had me laughing and giggling. My husband was talking to a close friend. They were cutting up and having a blast and telling jokes. The next thing I heard is what got to me.

I talk to both sides of myself.

Yes, it does read that he talks to both sides of himself. I laughed, then finally when I could get my breath I asked him what he meant. He told me that he has a serious side, and a funny side. I am not sure which one is the one that said that phrase. :)

Jewelry

Monday, July 27th, 2009

I like jewelry. BLING

Reminds me of the sound of an old fashioned cash register opening - Bling, ring. Whatever. Any way, I like jewelry. Some of what is offered is too jazzed up for me and some is just too expensive. Then there are the pieces of jewelry that are down right gorgeous. Think about it, heart pendant jewelry, crosses, necklaces, bracelets, even ankle chains. All of it bling.

I must sound like a magpie, after all they too like bling things. Bright, shiny, pretty things to put in the nest and look at. :)

Put some light on the subject

Monday, July 27th, 2009

Have you noticed that when you put light on something it is easier to see? DUH

My niece used to say that word a lot. I like it for some things. Yes, lighting something up will help to make the detail clearer. It is a shame that there aren’t lighting fixtures that can be used on these spam manufacturers.

There must be people out there in internet-land that do nothing all day but think up spam to take up room in our mail boxes. Some of that junk is funny, some offensive. Of course there are some people that would think a blog like mine is spam. Of course that would be thir opinion. I like the idea that i can just sit and type and get things off my chest. It is nice that can be done. :)

Complaints about spam

Monday, July 27th, 2009

Remember when I had complained about some of the spam getting in my e-mail?

I looked up the site for the FCC - http://www.fcc.gov/ - I found it.

They even have an e-mail address for obscene material. fccinfo@fcc.gov

It is unbelievable just what trash will end up in your box when you never asked for it in the first place. I would dearly enjoy finding a way to shut down those sites. Some of what gets sent out is stupid, some is down right obscene and gets me riled.

I wonder what makes them think that I want their trash? Yes, I am ranting. Sometimes, blowing steam can help get rid of pressure.

I Have A Problem

Sunday, July 26th, 2009

Yes, I do have a problem. My computer is slowing down. It is supposed to have a 10GB hard drive. However, the memory availability is down to only 4%. OWWWW

Something is absorbing the memory and I do not know how to get the unnecessary out, or what it is. I know that I can get a different hard drive that will have more memory, I just do not want to lose the items that I have stored right now.

Picky aren’t I? :)

I know that there are things that can be done. Like getting a ddr3, using memory sticks, new drive…..yada, yada, yada. I just do not know how to do these things. Anybody have any advice out there in internet land? It might help this basically analog person keep blogging. HELP!

Funny Talk 2

Sunday, July 26th, 2009

Just thought of a couple of other things. My niece in Iowa was talking to me the other day and told me of a couple of funny things that came out of her mouth.

She was moving from one place to another and a friend was helping her. Questions were going back and forth about different items, neighbors were listening and watching. Afterward, she and her friend had a good laugh when they realized what had been said. She later wondered what those neighbors thought.

Anyway, she has a black cotton duffel bag that stands 3′ tall, she also has her dad’s ashes with her after his funeral. When making sure every item was taken care of properly her friend asked her, “Where is dad?” Her reply was, “Dad is in the trunk.” The next question might have ended up with the cops being called. The friend asked about the duffel bag, unfortunately the bag has earned the nick name of ‘The Body Bag’. So of course the question was, “Where is the body bag?”

So here they were 2 questions, 2 answers - Where is dad? - In the trunk. Where is The Body Bag? - In the car. I also wonder what the neighbors thought. :)

Funny Talk

Sunday, July 26th, 2009

Have you ever been in a conversation, said something, and then realized that it really sounded bad or weird? If you haven’t done this, then you must not talk much at all.

Just yesterday I found myself saying.” I can’t get on the back of the couch, but you can.” Now that might seem like a strange thing to say since the title of this blog lets you know that I am not skinny. My cat wanted me to empty a chair that she has claimed and the only place to put the stuff was MY chair. She of course talked back. Don’t tell me that animals do not alk back, it happens all the time. Frontline news, animals also talk back, just like kids do. I have even heard the other cat we have mutter under her breath as she walks away from being told off about something. Kitty cat cussing would you believe. Amazing.
