He has a bike

My husband has been trying to get a motorcycle for a long time, since he needed to sell his previous one.
Well, he now has a different bike. It is a Honda 500 Shadow. We need to get a battery for it and some other things. At least we do not need custom headlights like his previous one had.
That bike was a swap-meet special. It had a combination of Harley parts, Triumph parts, Yamaha parts, and other assorted stuff. It was 9′2″ long. When he would drive it, he had to steer it like a car instead of being able to just lean and turn corners. It did draw a crowd when he rode it. Now we get to start again with customizing a bike for he use and his likes.

two weeks ago i traded in my honda cb250 which i held on to for way too many years and I got myself a 2004 honda shadow 750. Love it, dont know what I was waiting for all these years. I’m not familiar with the shadow 500 but all Honda Bikes are nice to ride.

My husband’s bike is a ‘83 model. He has been working on a couple of things, like getting a battery. Soon he will be working on the tank which has a couple of dents. I am trying to talk him into painting it a burgundy red, he is thinking of black or midnight blue. Either way, it will use less gas than a regular car.
