Welcome back!

Yup, there is something new in our neighborhood.

My husband is finding out the the no joy of some of the practices of the urology department. At least they do not go to cattle supplies for their products that they use.

I used to work in a nursing home and saw a lot of different things that would be used on people. Catheters seem to be one of those things that also double as torture devices. I realize that they are sometimes neccessary, I just wish that they were designed to be more sensitive to those who have sensitive areas. I am not sure how they could be redesigned to be more comfortable, but that doesn’t mean that I can’t wish it was possible.

It seems like everywhere I turn I hear about bluray.

What is it? What does it do? How does it work.

I must be left out of the loop because I only have regular DVD. I still use VHS tapes and watch them, too. I’ve heard that bluray is supposed to be better, but I do not have the machine to find out. Maybe someone will get me one for Christmas. Of course, then I’ll have to get some of those discs to put in and watch, too. Our video collection right now mubers in the hundreds. One of our friends said that we could supply a video store. Maybe a small one. At least we do not have to worry about having things on TV that we do not want to watch.
