Welcome back!

Finally, we have a date for my husband’s surgery.

JANUARY the 5th.

He has gotten through all of the tests and been approved by the different doctors. It is amazing what is necessary for each surgery. We spent a lot of time at the hospital running around from one area to another. We had started by fasting for the blood tests that we both needed. The test was at 11:30 since he’d had a low blood sugar at 3:30 am and needed to eat something.

We figured that we would be able to get something to eat and then go for the rest that was needed. It didn’t work out. So, between the running from one area to another and not eating, we definitely got our exercise on. Whew, talk about sleeping really good.

Anyway, the surgery is on. Now we call the day surgery on Thursday to get the exact time.
