Sneezing

Tuesday, March 30th, 2010

Welcome back!

Or should I say 0=8*&^%@$%bjwg[ !

I do not like allergies. Of course I do not need allergy bedding because my allergies are all from the outside. We have cats - no problem. We go visit people - PROBLEM.

Do you know the itchy throat that tickles and won’t stop? How about the itchy watering eyes, the twitchy nose, the dripping eyes and nose…..I could go on and on. I’ll be merciful and not go on. Allergies are for me what hangovers are for others. PAIN, problem, hassel. “Nuff said.

Computers ARGH!

Tuesday, March 30th, 2010

I have 2 computers.

They are scheming together to drive me nuts. Yes, they are!

One is running out of available memory, the other is refusing to send out any e-mails. Why? I have NO IDEA. They are driving me nuts.

When things get tough computer wise, I just remember…they were designed by human beings to drive other human beings crazy. :)

Yup, that’l do it for sure.

Not Political

Thursday, March 25th, 2010

Right now, I am not being political. I like giving my opinions, though. Politics have enough time on the TV these days. I think that other things need some promotional products of their own.

Some of the commercials that can be seen on TV can actually be entertaining. There is one where a good looking guy is sitting backwards on a horse. I cannot remember the product though, because I am usually too busy looking at the guy and wondering how he can keep a straight face while riding backwards. Good actor I guess.

I still miss the chihuahua who was talking and selling stuff. Cute is good, anoying is not good.

Back to the regular

Monday, March 22nd, 2010

Back to the regular things of life.

Getting older, watching the world do its thing, Thinking about diets and phentermine. I like food too much.

Of course the name on this blog does give a hint to that doesn’t it? Why do diets have to be so hard/ Exercise is not possible for everyone. Some of the cheapest food on the market happens to be high in starches and calories.

Why is it that most of the things that taste great, also fatten great? I guess that I have a lot of questions. I enjoy tomatoes, cabbage, olives and other things. I also like cheese, bread, pasta, hamburgers, and other things like them.

You can’t quit eating totally like some can quit smoking totally.

I’m getting older

Monday, March 22nd, 2010

Been worrying about finances myself. Looked in the mirror earlier and noticed that I am getting older.

I need a new face. Not sure if eye cream for wrinkles would help. What about cream for an older body? Is there such a thing?

I realize that everyone is getting older. Some do not show it as others do though. My mirror does not lie. It has some dirt on it, but I cannot blame my wrinkles on it. I never have thought to check and see if the mirror has wrinkles, though.

Nope, it’s just me folks.

I’m grumpy

Monday, March 22nd, 2010

Well, I guess the title says it all.

With what congress has done, we will all be needing a way to earn extra income from home. I do not expect that a whole lot of the country is happy right now, so I am not alone in my grumpiness.

The economy is still throwing out a lot of flack. Businesses are in rough times, families are in need. More income would really be wanted by many people.

Betrayed

Sunday, March 21st, 2010

I don’t know about you, but I feel betrayed by the politicians in Washington, DC.

Nancy Pelosi promised to co-operate with both sides in the political battle and to do things to help the citizens of the country. She has not done as she promised.

So many people in this country do NOT, repeat NOT want the so-called health care bill. Yet, the politicians are trying to kangaroo it into effect no matter what the people want. So much for helping the people.

Saw Family

Friday, March 19th, 2010

Yup, while running around this week, we actually had a chance to see family that we hadn’t seen in a while.

Our niece, came up to us in one of the stores that we visit, and we were able to check out how she is doing right now. She is now engaged to a nice young man who seems to be great. She might soon need to find a source of prenatal vitamins, but she says that she isn’t pregnant just yet. She had managed to lose weight, and was looking really good, and happy at the same time.

It was great just having a chance to talk to her without a crowd around. Usually we only see her when it is Christmas time, or Thanksgiving time. That family is still growing. :)

New Thing

Friday, March 19th, 2010

My brother-in-law, one of them, in Arkansas is trying to lose weight.

I have found a new thing to use for a weight loss program. Be so busy that you cannot remember if you have seen yourself coming or going. HA, got you with that one.

We have been running around so much that my feet automatically seem to search for the gas pedal, and my ‘rump’ can still feel the seat in the van, even though I am not in it right now.

I have to admit that a lot of central Texas has very pretty countryside. I just wish that we didn’t have to see so much of it in just one week. :)

Go ahead, make my day

Monday, March 15th, 2010

I like that line from a movie. I imagine that a lot of people like it too, and know the movie that it came from.

It proves just how commercialized that we are right now. How about ‘where’s the beef’? Do any of you remember where that line comes from, and WHO said it?

I do remember. There are so many different commercials that are out there now. Some are memorable, others quickly forgotten. I know there was one that had a dot com in it. It wasn’t www.carinsurancelist.com, but if I think long enough on it I will remember which one it is. I do miss the Chihuahua commercial about food, though. That dog was cute. :)
