Lately I have been having trouble with my pain levels increasing. This is in spite of taking Ultram.

Went to the doctor and he suggested using a new (for me) medication called Amitriptylin. In high doses it is used to help alter moods. Well, I do not need the altering of my moods, but I do need some relief from pain. After months, it can get to you. He explained that in low doses, it will help my previous medicine work better. I will see what happens.
