Yes, I did spell that correctly. The word spirometer stands for a medical device that is used for those with breathing problems like COPD. It somehow measures your breath and with associated tests the doctor can tell about what your lung power is like.

I have seen some of the things used for testing sleep apnea, even though I had no idea what the different things did. It is amazing what medical science can come up with to take care of humans. I saw an ad in the waiting room while mom waited for her doctor to see her. Some magazines had pictures, some recipes, some were nothing but words, but this one word caught my attention. I at first wondered if I was reading it correctly. I was, but I still do not quite understand what it was that I was reading about. Of course, I am not a doctor, just nosy after all.
