It’s time for a quick trim.

My hair has gotten too long for my comfort. What I usually do is pull it up and through an empty tape roll that used to hold some box tape. You know the stuff, it is clear and about 2″ across.

When I hold the hair through the empty roll, I then place the scissors across the roll and snip what hair shows above the cardboard roll. It seems to work rather neatly. I have never had someone look at me, scream, and then run away. I won’t win any beauty contest, but my head is cooler, and the hair does not get into everything anymore.
