No, I am not talking about firing our cat. I really am talking about paper sacks.

Both of our cats love to climb into paper sacks that we leave on the floor, and make the sacks rattle. Of course, this is no accident. It looks strange to see the back end of a cat hanging out of a sack, while the sack itself is rattling and changing shape.

Who needs tranquilizers when you can be entertained by such a simple thing as a paper sack?

As I type this into my site, I am trying to stay awake.

If you see typos, please forgive me, my fingers are on auto pilot. Is there such a thing? I dunno. Haven’t had much happening lately, so have not had much to wriote about.

There is a phrase that I was curious about – Bell Vortex.

I looked it up and what did I find? Well, that is the question is it not. Was it a vortex? A Vortex happens to be another name for a whirlwind or tornado. Was it a water spot?

I realize that after Christmas, many people are at the store returning, or exchanging what they ha gotten as presents.

One way to avoid that is to get something special. Getting personalized gifts for her, or for him helps. If you know the types of things that someone wants, or something very specific, it does save a lot of hassle.

I am fortunate in that my tastes are simple and I like almost every thing that I have ever received. In fact I remember one Christmas I received blocks of plain paper, crayons, tape, scissors, and lots of coloring pencils. I had a ball.

No, it is not a name.

I took one word from an older Christmas carol to express what has happened in the last day or so. Saturday our church went on a hay ride and had a blast. Young and old, singing and non-singing, going through a nearby neighborhood, serenading anyone who wanted to listen.

We waved at passing cars, had people honk and wave back. This was fun and a time to treasure.

Today, we had church with a great message, great meal, a new singer who played a guitar beautifully, and afterward we exchanged gifts. We ended up having more laughter, smiles, and fun.

When making decorations, there are a lot of different types of beads that can be used.

I, myself, make jewelry sometimes and use many types that are a mixture of glass, metal, wood, and ceramic.

Of course if I could afford Swarovski Crystal beads, that would make a wonderful difference in the type of jewelry. I have seen little figurines that were made of crystal and they were magnificent. All that I can say is have fun. That, after all, is the point of doing crafts. Why do it if it isn’t fun?

Yup, it is me again. I have checked out a lot of different site on the web and sometimes I wonder just who is on the other end.

Well, I am a housewife who has been married for 28 years to a great, loving man. We have two cats who think they tell us what to do (like when to go to bed, etc.).

We both like to talk to people. I obviously have opinions and have shared them repeatedly. So far I have not managed to make anyone extremely grumpy, yet.

We have a bunch of folks who come by to visit and then sit and talk a while.

In other words- we is just folks.

Yes, I am alive.

I am also basically sane. I have not been chased by the cops lately. I have also not run anyone over either.

So, even though it is HOT outside, the money in the bank is getting very short, the politicians have been irritating as usual – I am happy.

Things could be much worse, I do NOT want those things to get worse. So, I figure that I could at least be happy for what I do happen to have.

No, I am not teasing, I am serious. Happy, but serious.

There is another choice to a way to keep cool.

Tell the weatherman/woman to – TURN ON THE AIR CONDITIONER!

I know, that is ridiculous. However, it is nice to wish for something ridiculous once in a while.:)

Meanwhile, I have heard that some have found that staying at home or a friend’s house and using thexbox 360 controller, and playing video games also works. I do not have an XBox, I do have a computer….DUH

I love to kid around.

I finally figured it out, which holiday is next.

The holiday of sleep. With all that had been going on in the last few month, sleep is rather attractive. Some people would be looking for yoga blocks to use yoga to relax. I looked for pillows that were nice and fluffy and NOT flat.

The old pillows that we have had gone flat a long time ago. We would fold them in half in order to get them to stop being so flat.

The holiday of sleep involves lots of Z’s, snoring, and lots of shut eye. |)
