Have you seen how the media has been talking about those supposed ‘humanitarian’ blockade ships?

It sounds as if the media want us to feel sorry for those who knew ahead of time that they should not try to invade Israeli waters. There is a port set aside for any, ANY, aid that comes for the Gaza strip. This shows why the items being sent are being inspected.

There are so many boring commercials these days that it is amazing.

Recently saw one that actually made me laugh. If I had an epson receipt printer, I would print it out in its entirety just so you could read what it says.

It shows a man talking about a famous mens’ cologne, and body spray. He talks and talks as the camera slowly moves back from him to give you a better view.

When it finally shows what he is doing, he is riding a horse BACKWARDS. That is a unique way to approach getting an audience’s attention. I know that it got mine, for I burst out laughing.

Everywhere that I look on the TV right now, there are political ads everywhere, everywhere….did I say EVERYWHERE?

This man says this, that man says that……noise, noise, NOISE!

I am an opinionated fat broad and even I don’t have as many opinions as the politicians do in all of their ads.

I know that they are trying to get elected, I just wish that they would tell the truth.

OOPS, if they did that they would not get elected….would they?

Am I the only one who feels that the political course of our country has been side tracked by the media frenzy that goes with elections?

have you heard? When I last checked, the USA had 1 gold medal, 2 silver medals, and 3 bronze medals.

I couldn’t believe it when that young man lost his life just practicing for that sled event. I feel sorry for his family.

I hope and pray that no more young people have serious accidents happen while this event or any other event go on. It makes me wish that I had the money to get a room at one of the Toronto hotels, so I could be there in person and watch. These athletes practice so hard, and have worked for so long that they should be cheered on by anyone who watches. It is something that anyone from any country should be able to recognize and appreciate.

Did you see the program on TV last night? You know the models wearing all of the underwear?

Have you ever noticed just how skinny those models are? They must know the best diet supplements to take to stay that skinny.

Did you know that the average American woman is not 110 lbs any more? She would be about 140. In the old days she would be called Reuben-esque. Meaning that she has curves. Yes, those ladies on the catwalk did have curves, but some of them were rather slender. I sometimes wonder just who actually wears the things advertised.

I am just being a smart alec. Or in other words I am being very elliptical in getting to the point of what I am writing. I have been reviewing some of what I’ve been writing and noticed a lot of gripes. Well, griped are OK in their own way and in their own time. People do need a way to blow off steam in one way or another.

So far, in our country you are allowed to gripe, grouch, groan, etc., or in other words to express your opinions. Since I can describe myself in 3 words – opinionated fat broad- being able to express my opinions is a plus. I am, after all, NOT a pressure cooker designed to hold pressure and not explode. It is nice to realize that many other people in the internet are also opinionated, too.

Yup, got it figured out.

Get all of the politicians to go on diets. (I also need to diet by the way. The name gives it away.) They should have the same resources that we have.

Think about it. They use the Medifast coupons that can be found. They no longer eat in the special dining chambers that are there in DC. If they eat the same foods that we eat, use the means available that we have, they might get a better perspective on real life.

I know that I am dreaming here. But, wouldn’t it be nice? Ah, it is so fun to dream.

Ok, I have been reading. I have been watching.

There are so many people that do not want Obama-care that it is unreal. The news talks about the protesters. The politicians ignore those speaking out. People from other countries are making comments. The BBC website has a lot of comments.

What I do not hear is a reasonable way to fix things. Politicians in control of our health created Medicare and Medicaid. Politicians are the ones who have helped this country into having a hard time financially, not just the investors, banks, and stock brokers alone. Why would we want them in charge of our collective health? Remember, they have their own health-care system. They would not suffer.

Well, Obama has had his say about health care. Were your questions answered? Or do you still have questions?

This is what I know:
People in Canada leave their country to come here to get good health care.
People in Great Britain leave their country to get good health care.

Why do they not stay in their own countries if their type of health care is so great?

It is because their health care systems are not as good as what we have here. Yes, it could stand some improvement. However, getting our political figures involved in the health care process definitely is not the answer. Just look at the operating costs of our government and then figure the same type of spending applied to your own health, or lack of health. The politicians will not be using what the regular people will be stuck with after all. They have their own health care programs and do not have to face the same type of paper work and hassles. Why is it so important to force something down the throats of Americans when they do NOT want the interference?

Have you noticed that when you put light on something it is easier to see? DUH

My niece used to say that word a lot. I like it for some things. Yes, lighting something up will help to make the detail clearer. It is a shame that there aren’t lighting fixtures that can be used on these spam manufacturers.

There must be people out there in internet-land that do nothing all day but think up spam to take up room in our mail boxes. Some of that junk is funny, some offensive. Of course there are some people that would think a blog like mine is spam. Of course that would be thir opinion. I like the idea that i can just sit and type and get things off my chest. It is nice that can be done.
