Welcome back!
I finally figured it out, which holiday is next.
The holiday of sleep. With all that had been going on in the last few month, sleep is rather attractive. Some people would be looking for yoga blocks to use yoga to relax. I looked for pillows that were nice and fluffy and NOT flat.
The old pillows that we have had gone flat a long time ago. We would fold them in half in order to get them to stop being so flat.
The holiday of sleep involves lots of Z’s, snoring, and lots of shut eye. |)

That is a good question. We have already celebrated the New Year. We have celebrated Valentine’s day.
The Happy Easter store already sent out its many varied types of gifts.
It is hot outside, chocolate melts in the heat, eggs could fry on the sidewalk with the right sort of weather. What holiday is next?
I hope that is it something that involves air conditioning.
Oh yeah, it rained today. The sun was shining, it was down pouring, yet it was raining. A man walking by was soaking wet, but he was smiling and cheerful, after all, it was raining.

Here is the latest update on Mom and her situation.
She is in the nursing home, her apartment has been cleaned, emptied, and the keys turned in. Electricity, cable TV, phone, and most bills have been taken care of properly.
The only thing that I can think of that has not been fully taken care of is birthday invitations to any family. Most of the family know that she is relocated, and they have fun calling her and talking for long times. (Her phone in her room is provided for a small charge.)
We recently had a family reunion that we were unable to attend, but that is not unusual. Maybe after a while, things will slow down. … Maybe…

My husband and I have actually discovered, with all that has been going on, that we need a new phone.
O have no idea what we will get whether it will be an iphone, or something much cheaper, we NEED a different phone.
The on that we have right now has evidently been bounced too many times on the floor, or something. We talk to many people and too many times we hear - hello? hello? are you there? hello? All while we are trying to talk to the person on the other end. Hope we can find an inexpensive one.

It is getting to be game time on t he television. Everywhere you look there are sports games that are showing. Anything from golf to baseball might be on.
If you are not a sports fan, you are in trouble unless you have a lot of videos, or have Nintendo ds games that you can watch.
As for me, I have videos that I cannot even remember what movies I do have. I have a favorite few (but still want more of them), and a lot that my husband likes also. I guess that game time to us means MOVIES>

I thank God that my husband and I do NOT have to worry about planning a funeral for his mom.
With all that she went through in the past month, it has been totally amazing. The type of arrangement that she had wanted did not leave any room for custom floral arrangements for a funeral or even for her grave site. I am thoroughly happy that it has become not necessary.
The only custom floral arrangements that my husband and I could think of were for her to be alive and to enjoy the flowers. She dearly loves flowers and would like to have flowers planted outside of her front window. If I could, I would do just that. However, I do not have a ‘green thumb’. While she was in the hospice, I brought in something unusual that she ended up loving. I had gotten a 3 foot long rose that the flower head was almost a foot across. I sprayed some rose linen spray on it, brought it into her hospice room and her face lit up.
I would love to give her a bunch of living and flourishing plants with a lot of bows on them. She would enjoy that. Me too.

With all that has been going on, I am worn down.
If there was a multivitamin that could give me the energy, stop the congestion in my chest, and give me back feeling in my face - I WOULD TAKE IT, in a heart beat.
At times, I feel like I am stuck in a waiting game, waiting for mom to die. Other times, I feel almost like a vulture. She is at peace with the thought of leaving, I am not sure that I am yet.
At least at the hospice, she is taken care of and does not feel any pain from her condition. Time, right now, seems to be the main enemy.

Summer is around the corner.
If you are thinking about going camping and you have an RV, you also need to think about getting rv insurance.
Not only do you need to think about insurance, but you should also think about the last time that you used your RV.
Did you clean it out? Did you leave some things in it and forget they were there. Now is the time to think about these things before the days comes and you find the old veggies that have now been turned into penicillin cultures just waiting to be found.

Have you heard the old saying - here we go loop de loo?
I have sung that particular phrase when going around in circles in the local shopping mall parking lot. Also when trying to make sense of new government regulations, rules, and other pain in the rump stuff.
Do you realize that if we applied Maxim lighting to a lot of what goes on in our government that some of it would make the citizens scream?
I need to be careful here, or I will get on one of my favorite soap boxes and gripe about Uncle Sam and all of his little idiot. No, I am not talking about the regular citizens here. Just the ones who were put in office by ‘friends’.

Now, what am I talking about?
I have heard that the English language is very confusing to many people from non-English speaking countries. This is a word that can help you understand where they are coming from.
I could be talking about the scales that you see on fish. (I don’t like to fish, so don’t see many fish scales up close.) You could also be talking about scales that weigh a product, or a person. I have also seen scales that can weigh vehicles. My sister was a truck driver and talked about those lots of times. They were NOT popular with the truckers.
Then there are the scales that might be over someone’s eyes when they really do not pay attention to what is going on around them.
So which scales do you have?
