Hungry again

Welcome back!

Did I mention that we had been traveling a lot lately?

One thing that I haven’t figured out how to control is my appetite. Driving does seem to create an appetite in me. A good appetite suppressant would help.

This day we munched on chicken strips, pimento cheese sandwich, ham sanwish, potato wedges. That was nice and tasty. Got home, slept (we were rather tired after all), now got up and want something to eat. What else is new? :)

Now what?

Saturday, September 26th, 2009

Now I am wondering what will happen next.

I am hearing growls from my husband and I know that this time I am innocent. Of course there is the small matter of his needing to occupy the bathroom for a while, and my need to use it too. Maybe some weight loss pills would help then we could both be in there at the same time. Of course that means that I would have to sit on his lap and he might not like that very much.

If you can hear snickers right now, you will know that I am just fooling around and having some fun. He is grunting and groan, not growling. :)

Who Needs to Diet?

Monday, September 14th, 2009

After all of the hoopla that i’ve seen these past days. I realize parts of the country need to go on a diet. Guess who I am thinking of here. Try - FAT HEADS.

The FAT HEADS that I am thinking of are the congressmen and the senators in Washington, DC. They want the country to use the ‘new’ health care plan. They won’t use it of course, they have their own thing going with their own type of health care. Of course that is not available to the ordinary citizen. If very soon, they want a pay raise, I believe that we should deny them any pay at all. If you consider the state that the country is in at the moment, they have NOT earned any pay at all. I believe that they have abused the ordinary person in this country. They are supposed to be in office to help, not to hinder.

Yes, I am griping, who wouldn’t.

Still Two Ton

Monday, July 20th, 2009

I am still Two Ton Tilly. I haven’t lost weight yet. I keep hearing about diet and exercise, but pain does limit any possible exercise.

I have thought about checking out weight loss supplements reviews to see what is out there, but with all the medicine that I am taking, it would be hard to find something that wouldn’t interfere.

I think I’ve put weight back on

Tuesday, April 14th, 2009

It ain’t fair.

I think that I have put back on weight since I have recovered from the flu.

It just ain’t fair. :(

If I sound like I am pouting, you are probably right. At my age it is not easy to lose weight. I keep hearing about diet and exercise. Nice, if you are able to do the exercise. The diet part is not all that easy either. Too bad there is not a ‘magic’ pill that would just melt away all of the unnecessary fat without effort. It does not exist, yet. I figure that the diet people are trying to get that one right. Even without it being in existence they still make a lot of money.

I know that I cannot be the only one who wants to lose weight. All of the diet foods, and pills are thought up for someone, not just me. Stopping ‘cold turkey’ does not work either. That is called starvation. I am a long way from that. I am not giving up. Sooner or later, I will finally get some weight off. I think that I’ll go take a shower. That might help. After all, dirt does add weight, too. :)

Well, I’ve lost weight

Saturday, April 4th, 2009

Yes, I have lost weight. Having the flu will definitely take away your appetite.

A friend mentioned that it was noticeable. I’m just glad that she didn’t ask about the best diet pills to use to do that. She has been complaining about needing to lose weight. She is only about 20 lbs over what she wants to weigh.

I do not understand what she is worried about, though. She is newly divorced and has already had guys looking interested. Some models that I have seen on TV look as if they have anorexia or boulemia and need to see a doctor. I am no where near having to worry about being too skinny. Too skinny is just as bad as being too fat. It is just finding a balance between the two, I guess. Haven’t gotten there yet. :)

Colon Cleanse ?

Friday, March 27th, 2009

There are a lot of items out on the market for cleansing the colon.

Colonix is another one. I do not have the need for this type of item thankfully. If you click on the name, it links you to a site that talks about this product. Whether or not to buy it or use it is your choice.

There are many ways to keep ‘things’ flowing, if you know what I mean. Fiber is one good choice. A balanced diet with every type of food in correct amounts is another way to achieve what you need. What ever way that you try to keep ‘things’ flowing, please research each item that you are going to use and what else is needed to get what it is that you want.

Me, I enjoy raw veggies. Having the urge to munch is sometimes greatly satisfied with crunchy cauliflower, carrots, broccoli…I guess the list could go on, but I won’t. :)

Now What?

Sunday, December 14th, 2008

Maybe I am getting older. I am not able to lose weight very easily. I sometimes eat things that give me diarrhea, and gas. Those things are supposed to be good for me and to help to lose weight, you know lots of veggies do that, At least I do enjoy veggies. I ache all the time from Arthritis, if I have a day without any pain at all, it is very rare. That does get tiring.

Don’t worry, I am too stubborn and pigheaded to give up.

I have had people suggest that I use chop sticks to eat with. The only trouble is that I love chop sticks and can eat faster with them, than with a fork. I have several sets of chop sticks that I use at different times. I also save them when we actually have the money to eat out, take them home and use them in arts and crafts projects. (They make neat crosses.)

There is something that I wonder about, though. There are a lot of diet pills on the market, what is with the names? Leptorexin, Fenfedra, yada, yada, yada. How do they think up those names, why can’t they make them easier to remember or pronounce? Well, any way; my main trouble is that I like food. Most of the people that I know do also. After all what would be the point in making food that doesn’t taste good? I know that not everyone has the option to be picky about what they eat or if they eat, so I shouldn’t complain. I wish that dieting was easier. :)

Dieting

Saturday, August 2nd, 2008

The name of my blog probably tells you that I need to use a diet in my daily life. I’ve tried some. Some are expensive, others a lot of hassle. Either way the word ‘diet’ has connotations with it that make me shudder.

No, I won’t talk about the negative right now. There is enough in the world that makes people sad. Anoretix is another diet pill that is available out there for those who can’t just control the amount of food that is eaten. Hoodia is also mentioned. I wonder just how many diet pills are on the market today?

I wish that there was something that was easy and simple for people like me to use in order to lose weight. Exercise is good to mention, unless your movements are controlled by the presence of pain. Who knows, one of these days there might exist an easy way to accomplish the loss of weight without the pain, pills, diet, and other things that go with losing weight. Until then, I will fumble along and do what I can.
