Welcome back!

No, it is not a name.

I took one word from an older Christmas carol to express what has happened in the last day or so. Saturday our church went on a hay ride and had a blast. Young and old, singing and non-singing, going through a nearby neighborhood, serenading anyone who wanted to listen.

We waved at passing cars, had people honk and wave back. This was fun and a time to treasure.

Today, we had church with a great message, great meal, a new singer who played a guitar beautifully, and afterward we exchanged gifts. We ended up having more laughter, smiles, and fun.

I hope that you can have a great time with your family, friends and others and also have a great time.

I saw something on Facebook that had my juice glands watering.

It was an advertisement for cheap cookie gift baskets. I couldn’t believe what I was looking at.

The cookies were designed to look like different types of animals and they also had other designs. Someone must have a great imagination to do something like that. My problem is that I would be tempted to eat what I was decorating instead of making them for sale to others. We have been setting up our church, and have been having a lot of fun.

We have added wall hangings, kitchen utensils, table, chairs, counters, and more.

What we will add next, I have no idea. It is something to look forward to seeing, though.

Found another new game. WARNING, this game is very addictive.

Yes, it was only a couple of days ago that I wrote about a game. Here is another. It is called UNFOLDING.

Each stage gets more and more complicated. You will see a puzzle made of dots connected to lines which cross. You are supposed to unfold each puzzle until no lines cross each others.

Remember, each game stage gets more complicated. Enjoy.

It has been a while since I wrote about a game that I enjoy.

Well, this one, I had been using a hand-held device to play. It finally quit when the screen lost its touch sensitivity. GRRRRR, so much for touch screens. This game is SUDOKU and it is very addictive.

It uses logic and memory skills to place the numbers in the correct place. Try it, you might get hooked, too.

After what my friend and I went through today, a way to relax would be good. Especially for her as she was so closely involved.

I’ve been thinking, a nice vacation where relaxation is more than possible. An Orlando vacations would include sunshine, breezes, relaxation, and definitely getting away from all of the hoopla. It would be nice for her to have someone taking care of her and pampering her instead of insulting her and treating her with contempt.

Maybe I’ll talk to her about it. She was wanting to find a way to feel better and that might do it.

Yes, it is a sign. I am not getting all strange here.

I am making a sign for our church. I am having fun. I was able to take the information that was needed, lay out the arrangement of the information. Then I have drawn it on the wooden board.

I got ahead of myself. First I figured out what size to make it. Then when I presented with the board, I painted it white (several times in order to seal it from the weather). After that I laid out the information, talked to our pastor, drew it on the painted board and then started to pain in the words.

It will look great when it is totally finished, and I am having a blast doing this.

Anyone who has visited my blog before has probably realized that there are several things that I really like: Cats, Food, Books, and Games.

I guess you can figure what I am going to talk about today. Ah, but you do not know which one, though. I know, I know, I am a smart alec.

TETRIS I finally found in and have enjoyed myself ever since. I can almost hear the pops as new shapes appear, and the little sound played when another row is gone. Tetris is very addictive, so make sure you do not have anything else to do first.

Do you want to go crazy? I have found a game that will definitely do that. When I was a little girl (yes, that description fit me at one time), there was a puzzle that you could hold in your hand and slide the different numbers around and try to get them in order. I used to spend hours doing that. It was a sort of Rubics cube that was flat.

It is simply called sliding block puzzle. I have been able to solve one version of the puzzle, but the other two drive me nuts. The one with a lot of blue blocks is not the one that does the crazy bits. If you like to go crazy once in a while, have fun.
