Hunh?

Welcome back!

I hear all types of alphabetic letters for different things. I recently heard about PS3. My response was hunh?

Well, I guess that i am not really up to the times. It happens. :)

I finally figured out that it has to do with Play Station 3 games. Oh, Yeah….
Some of the younger people might say - DUH! Well, I am learning here. Do you realize that you should never stop learning. If a 55 year old, opinionated, fat broad who is analog can learn how to blog, I guess it ain’t too late. Yes, I am familiar with some slang terms. My head isn’t all that gray, yet. :)

Yes, it was only a couple of days ago that I wrote about a game. Here is another. It is called UNFOLDING.

Each stage gets more and more complicated. You will see a puzzle made of dots connected to lines which cross. You are supposed to unfold each puzzle until no lines cross each others.

Remember, each game stage gets more complicated. Enjoy. :)

It has been a while since I wrote about a game that I enjoy.

Well, this one, I had been using a hand-held device to play. It finally quit when the screen lost its touch sensitivity. GRRRRR, so much for touch screens. This game is SUDOKU and it is very addictive.

It uses logic and memory skills to place the numbers in the correct place. Try it, you might get hooked, too. :)

Anyone who has visited my blog before has probably realized that there are several things that I really like: Cats, Food, Books, and Games.

I guess you can figure what I am going to talk about today. Ah, but you do not know which one, though. I know, I know, I am a smart alec.

TETRIS I finally found in and have enjoyed myself ever since. I can almost hear the pops as new shapes appear, and the little sound played when another row is gone. Tetris is very addictive, so make sure you do not have anything else to do first. :)

Do you want to go crazy? I have found a game that will definitely do that. When I was a little girl (yes, that description fit me at one time), there was a puzzle that you could hold in your hand and slide the different numbers around and try to get them in order. I used to spend hours doing that. It was a sort of Rubics cube that was flat.

It is simply called sliding block puzzle. I have been able to solve one version of the puzzle, but the other two drive me nuts. The one with a lot of blue blocks is not the one that does the crazy bits. If you like to go crazy once in a while, have fun. :)

Here I go again. I am apparently hooked on games on the computer. This one called “Splash Back”, is amazingly good fun, if you like to make messes, play in the water and other things.

Making a mess, and not having to clean it up can be very therapeutic for your nerves, and it also helps me to think. Lately there has been a lot going on and this has given me a chance to relax and unwind. Sometimes, I find myself playing for hours not even noticing how the time has passed. What is that old saying?….TRY IT YOU’LL LIKE IT. :)

P.S. Don’t play it until after you go to the bathroom. :}

Here i am again with the games to drive me crazy. I had blogged earlier about a game that had a grid of letters that needed to be eliminated, well, it has been changed. So, I looked through the site that i had gotten it from and found another one that drives me coo-coo just like the coo-coo clock bird.

This one has blocks in a framework, and you are supposed to get the red block out. Round and round they go and where they stop is only when you get the red block out. If you like thinking games, this one will make you think. :)

Games 3

Previously I had mentioned laptops. I have since learned that it is one word, not two. Live and learn, oh well.

Now I am going to mention games again. The playstation 3 in particular. It has more than just one game with it, or that goes to it. Sometimes I wonder just how many games there are that are available. I have seen so many on the internet that it is amazing that anyone gets their work done. I imagine that there are literally thousands of types of games to play. I do not know how many are available for the play station, but it has to be a lot. Would you need to have library shelves for them all? Hmmm, it makes me wonder.

Since getting on the internet, I have found games all over the place. They are fun, addictive, and something that is just cool. Yes, I still use that old word.

One that has recently gotten me hooked is a grid of letters. You are to eliminate all of the letters, then the site will send you to another spot. I haven’t gone there yet because I keep going back to the grid. Like I said, it is addictive and fun.If you like to think and plan while playing a game, this one will get you to do both.

I went to go to the site that I talked about here, and it has changed. Now it shows a policeman chasing a crook. I caught the crook. I miss the letter grid, though.

Games

I do enjoy playing games. My sis often sends me games that I can try.

Right now I’m hooked on something called - Boxes and Dots - it is a bunch of dots that you connect with lines, be careful, though, you are playing against the computer which puts in lines randomly. The third line for each box is the danger line. When that happens you can start a chain of box making that could end up with most of the board owned by the computer, not you.

You never know where the computer will make a line next. If you miss an opportunity to make or complete a box, the computer will not miss it. Try it out, it is fun, and it makes you think and plan your next move for the least amount of damage.

Do not be surprised if you lose the first time around or more. It is addictive. :)
