Welcome back!

I love the Spam that comes in a can.

I HATE the crap that shows up in my e-mail. All the time it shows up.

Why should I have to unsubscribe from something that I never wanted to begin with? I NEVER gave permission for my e-mail address to be abused and used by the trash senders of the universe.

I HATE this trash. I would dearly love to be able to mess with their computer the way that they have messed with mine.

Who gave them the privilege of messing up my computer?

NOT ME.

Junk Mail

Tuesday, July 21st, 2009

I have probably mentioned this before, but I do not really like junk mail. Wspecially when it hits my in-box on the computer.

I have unsubscribed from so many sites, it has made no difference. It seems like the junk-e-mail just keeps on coming. YUK YUK YUK !!!!

I wish that I knew more about computers so that I could give them some crud in return. I am very tired of finding information about sexual organs and pills concerning those items. I do not want to date others, I am married and happy about it.

I am complaining. Definitely complaining. At least I am able to blow some steam somewhere.

Junk Mail

Friday, October 3rd, 2008

I’m back again. Moe junk mail in the outside mail box. I went through all of it. Nothing of any importance. Just junk. Then I strted to remove the names where they were plastered in all of the mail. YUK.

Not elegant, but the word tells how I feel. Why do the junk mail people do that? They don’t need to put your name all over the mail. It is like they want to make it easier for someone to steal information. I shred the important pieces and make lots of confetti. I wish I had one of those remote control helicopters and could take a load of the confetti to the junk mail business and deposit it all on the heads of the bosses there.

I realize that they are working, but they choose to put peoples’ names all aver their junk without any concern as to who might look at the leavings. ICK , or maybe I should stick to YUK. Oh well, if I did that with the confetti that I make, it would be littering wouldn’t it? Still, it is a fun thought. :)

Mail

I have another gripe. I know, I know, there are a lot of gripes in the world.

This gripe concerns junk mail. Maybe I should have called this post junk mail, but oh well. Every day we get mail in the box. We bring it in and go through it. Credit card offers galore, it would be nice i we had asked for them. When we read what the offers say, they make it sound as if WE wanted their junk in our mail box. sounds like spam doesn’t it? :)

Any way, when I go through these things, I remove our names and address from the paperwork. We have enough bills right now without having to worry about someone using this junk mail and stealing the use of our names. As I go through these things, I have noticed that The advertisers will plaster our names all over the paper as if we do not know who we are. Ridiculous. so, as I go through this junk I have to remove each and every place where our names are mentioned, remove any numbers that are included.

These things are a pain in the rump. When they include a postage paid envelope, I very kindly put in that envelope part of the form with the name on it and tell them to take our names off of their mailing lists. Let them pay the postage.

Junk Mail

Saturday, February 2nd, 2008

I must be weird! I like junk mail. It comes in all shapes and sizes. Sometimes it even has little surprises in it, almost like Cracker Jacks. Some of my favorites contain little plastic cards in them that imitate credit cards. My husband uses those plastic pieces in his arts and crafts hobbies. AOL used to send out discs to convince people to use it’s business. Those discs make good decorations for Christmas, or even sparklers to put in fruit trees to scare away birds. I’ve seen it done and made some decorations myself. Those disc boxes could also be used to put homemade necklaces in for presents.

Some junk mail has shown up with pennies, or penny stamps inside. The pennies went into a jar; the stamps went on packages. Am I recycling? Sort of.

Some of the junk mail can be used for paper mache projects. Some, which are almost like newspapers can be used when shining shoes or painting items. Of course a lot of junk mail goes into the trash unopened. It gives the trash man a little extra to haul off. Even if there aren’t any bills in the mail, I can’t almost always count on having junk mail to sort through. At least someone other than bill collectors know I’m here!
