Welcome back!

Yes, I am alive.

I am also basically sane. I have not been chased by the cops lately. I have also not run anyone over either.

So, even though it is HOT outside, the money in the bank is getting very short, the politicians have been irritating as usual - I am happy.

Things could be much worse, I do NOT want those things to get worse. So, I figure that I could at least be happy for what I do happen to have.

No, I am not teasing, I am serious. Happy, but serious.

One thing that i do like is some of the old sayings that are always haging around.

Some sayings do not make sense unless you know where they came from. I have mentioned the soldiers salute before, the threshold, and other things.

How about easy come, easy go…well, I guess that the way that people use money speaks for itself with that one.

I know one - sweating like a pig. It sounds gross, but is very true. If you have ever seen the body of a pid that is roasting over a fire on a spit, the flames below with pop and sputter constantly as the fat drips out of the meat onto the flames.

I know that i haven’t written anything, but there hasn’t been anything going on. In one way that is good, in another, it is boring.

Sometimes boring is good. Too many things happening at once can really be a pain in the tucus.
