Welcome back!

One of the things that we have learned about funerals, and burying a friend, is the rule concerning clothes. The body of the person being buried has to be covered with a regular set of clothes. I don’t know if babies would be required to have baby clothes or not, but it is something to think about.

Here where we live, men are required to wear pants, shirt, socks, and underwear. I can understand being concerned for the dignity of the person being buried. Woman being buried would be required to have pantyhose, bra, and underwear along with other apparel. It makes the job of funeral director more difficult. Considering that not everyone would ordinarily wear such things is not taken into account. I do not know who sets up these rules, but they are there. I hope that others do not have to learn the hard way about these things. It makes a bad time more difficult. Regular life does not prepare you for these things.
