It’s Out

Saturday, February 12th, 2011

Welcome back!

Yes, it is out.

What is out?

Why the jeux xbox is out.

I have no idea what an XBOX is since any games that I play are already put into my computer, or I just visit a site that has the game that I want to play.

I have heard a lot about XBOXes, and still have not seen one, played with one, or bought one. What do you do with one anyway?

We have a BABY

Tuesday, January 18th, 2011

Not my husband and myself, but a couple in our church. He is the cutest baby and the other young person in our church likes to watch him.

I went into the store and checked out what there is for babies to wear. I never realize before just how varied the choice of baby clothes is. I wish that they had some of this stuff for adults to wear, too.

I don’t mean the ruffles and lace, that ain’t my thing. However, some of the other stuff is really great. Yes, I like Winnie the Pooh, especially Tigger. How about the road runner, and others? :)

I’ve noticed

Saturday, January 8th, 2011

I have noticed that when my brother-in-law does his videos, he uses a green screen. How many people have a green study in their home strictly for making videos?

His have been pretty cool. Tinfoil Chef.com has a lot of those videos on it. Sometimes he writes about politics, sometimes he writes about his fight to lose weight. He is doing pretty good so far. A sense of humor, some intelligence, and a good imagination can work wonders. When it comes to handicrafts, I can have imagination. Electronics seem to bumfuzzle me sometimes.

BUMFUZZLE - made up word meaning that I am still more analog than digital, and I get confused.

Up and Coming

Monday, December 6th, 2010

Up and coming, is the one holiday that people use to avoid dieting. Of course it has contributed to many people going on a diet.

Christmas is coming, and soon the quickest way to shop ill involve the internet. Mail order will not get things to you quickly enough, phones will help, but the internet is very fast.

Some will set up a new web site, or use what they already have. Some will get aid from managed hosting. Since I am not technically advanced, I have no idea what that involves.

I am still evolving here. :P

Send a picture

Monday, November 22nd, 2010

I tried to send a picture to my e-mail address the other day, and my phone said that the format was corrupt.

HUNH? What corrupt? I had sent pictures before to save on my computer, but now it won’t cooperate. I guess that this phone is getting older and finally losing some of its punch. I guess that I have to start looking at cell phones to replace it.

I do not look forward to doing that. The phone that I use helps me to go on the internet. The program that is in the omputer uses that particular phone to make the connection.

BOTHER. (I guess that is putting it mildly.) :(

Cyber Monday

Monday, November 22nd, 2010

Guess what time it is again?

It is now time for Cyber Monday. This is the time for computer people to go on their computers and order what they want or need for the holidays that are coming. Whether or not the items are for themselves, or for another, the quicker that you order the item, the sooner that you no longer have to worry about the shipping time, or the mailing time.

I am going to take it easy this year. Cookies for everyone who visits ! YUM. Oh, by the way, the word DIET should not appear in your vocabulary right now.

Oh, I like it !

Wednesday, November 17th, 2010

Now that I think about it, the most glittery holiday of them all is getting closer.

The holiday that I love the most is Christmas. I get to see lots of outdoor Christmas decorations, lights everywhere, holiday music.

There are times that I feel like a kid when this holiday comes. I feel very thankful for what was given to everyone on that particular day. I also enjoy all of the decorations that go along with it. My husband used to wonder each year just what I would do to decorate our home for Christmas. We still have pictures. Our outdoor front porch still has lights on it that I hook up each year, but since we have cats in the house, I can’t put stuff up since the cats would get into it.

In fact, one cat we had tried to climb the artificial Christmas tree and broke a branch. Every time that he went near that tree, he would hiss. Hilarious ! :)

I wanted to have a regular tree that could be planted afterward, but my husband is allergic to those trees. I still love that holiday and its decorations.

Black Friday

Wednesday, November 17th, 2010

It is not yet Friday. However, the stores are having sales and calling them Black Friday.

This year, people do not have to wait until after Thanksgiving to go and look for sales.

I wish that we had a lot of money right now to take advantage of these sales. I need some more skirts and tops since the ones that i wear all of the time are starting to have those little balls on them. You know what I mean? The little balls that show up on knitted items when they’ve been worn a lot and washed a lot and the thread is starting to get a little thinner?

“Nuf said.

Late charge

Saturday, October 9th, 2010

Last month I had to let the car insurance be late.

OY VEY, I could not believe the late charge that was attached to the insurance bill. I am thinking that I will have to look for some cheap auto insurance in order to free up some money for other things. You know - food, shelter, medicine.

These days some might call those things incidentals. HA, as if. It has been a long time since we were able to just go to the store and get what we want without having to count every single penny.

I am sorry that I am griping here. I guess that I am really just blowing steam. :)

Cleanup clothes

Thursday, October 7th, 2010

What type of clothes would you wear for cleaning up after a flood?

I don’t know about you, but something tells me that jeans, t-shirts, even if they are rocawear jeans, would be better than using tuxedos, evening gowns, and such like.

I have never heard of people using formal wear to clean except for when Paris Hilton and the other lady wore high-heel shoes to do grunt work. Still can’t figure it out.
